What is Fuel Stick?
Fuel Stick was developed by combustion experts in New Zealand over many years and the manufacturing is now being done under strict quality control conditions in Southern Malaysia. Fuel Stick is a complex blend of highly refined renewable organic chemicals based on palm oil, designed specifically to blend with gasoline, diesel, bio-fuel and 2 stroke mix. Fuel Stick will improve fuel combustion, increase power and performance, clean, lubricate and protect the fuel system, and reduce harmful emissions, saving you money, using less fuel, and reducing your carbon footprint.
What are the major benefits offered by Fuel Stick?
The major benefits from using Fuel Stick are increased power and performance, better fuel economy and lower emissions. This is accomplished by:
- Cleaning the fuel system and compressions chambers.
- Increasing the octane and cetane ratings of the fuel you are using.
- Changing the molecular structure of the fuel so it burns more efficiently.
- Reducing emissions through cleaner burning fuel and a cleaner fuel system.
It should be understood that not all results will be the same. Some results may be better than others for a number of reasons – the actual condition of the engine, driving patterns, road and weather conditions. These all have an effect on the performance of any engine.
What types of vehicles can Fuel Stick be used on?
Fuel Stick can be used on any 2 or 4 stroke gasoline or diesel engines. Fuel Stick works equally well on carbureted engines and the latest electronic fuel injection systems.
If Fuel Stick reduces emissions, is there any guarantee that my ten year old vehicle will pass my vehicle emissions inspection?
Fuel Stick does reduce emissions in most vehicles. These reduction levels depend on the condition of the vehicle and the type and quality of the fuel used. As there are a multitude of factors that can influence the inspection end results, we cannot guarantee that your vehicle will pass any inspection.
Is Fuel Stick safe for my vehicle?
Fuel Stick is made from ingredients that are completely compatible with your fuel and the fuel system of your vehicle. These ingredients will not harm the seals, gaskets, fuel sensors, fuel injectors, fuel tank or catalytic converters on any gasoline or diesel vehicle. The active ingredients in Fuel Stick will actually extend the life of your fuel system through the continuous cleaning and lubricating action.
What will happen the first time I use Fuel Stick?
When you begin to use Fuel Stick, you will notice a dramatic increase in power and the engine will run quieter and smoother. You will have better throttle response and you will not need to change gears so often at lower speeds and around corners. You will begin to see fuel savings from the first tank of fuel, however, these savings will continue to increase as the cleaning process progresses. The performance will also improve as the cleaning process cleans your injectors and compression chamber.
If you notice any jerking after starting to use Fuel Stick, it is because the compression chambers, valves, spark plugs and pistons of your vehicle are very dirty and Fuel Stick is cleaning them up. The injectors may also be dirty with gum deposits so clean up may take a few tanks of fuel. Keep using Fuel Stick and this will slowly improve as the carbon deposits are cleaned out. It is also a good idea to change the spark plugs and have a tune up after you have used 2-3 tanks of fuel with Fuel Stick.
How frequently should I use Fuel Stick?
For best results, Fuel Stick should be used on a regular basis with each fill. This will keep your engine clean and give you all of the benefits of regular use.
How do I use Fuel Stick?
Simply measure the number of tablets you will need to treat the amount of fuel you are adding, and place them in the fuel tank before fuelling up. The cubes are easy to handle and break off, and Fuel Stick is completely safe to touch, hold and handle.
Can I put Fuel Stick in my fuel tank even if I don’t put fuel in the vehicle?
You can, but many fuel tanks have an anti-siphon plate to prevent a hose from going too far into the fuel tank. Your Fuel Stick may become lodged on this. It is best to add Fuel Stick when you are filling the tank so the fuel will wash the tablets down into the tank.
Do I have to completely fill my tank when using Fuel Stick?
No. Fuel Stick has been designed to allow partial fills as well. Simply read the package to determine how many tablets you will need for a partial fill. Each tablet treats 20 litres of fuel, so this makes it very easy to measure no matter how much fuel you are adding. You will not do any harm if you put in too much Fuel Stick, but you will not receive any additional benefit either. Add approximately what you need, but be sure you do not under treat the fuel. It is better to over treat than to under treat as you will not receive the full benefit if the fuel is under dosed.
Does Fuel Stick have a shelf storage life?
Fuel Stick has an unlimited shelf life if left in its original packaging and stored as recommended. Fuel Stick should be stored in the locked glove box or trunk of your vehicle. Fuel Stick will not melt in warm conditions under 50o C. Wherever you store Fuel Stick, please be sure to keep out of reach of children. Fuel Stick is not altered in any way in storage, and there are no disposal requirements or spillage problems with messy bottles.
Why didn’t I see any savings with Fuel Stick?
Fuel savings vary depending on a variety of factors. Maintaining the same driving style, using the same acceleration, and increased or decreased loads in your vehicle can all affect the amount of fuel savings each person will see. There are two options for drivers using Fuel Stick – you can maintain the same driving style and save fuel, or you can use the extra power to accelerate and drive faster.
There is also the condition of the engine to take into account. The older or dirtier the engine, the longer it will take to be thoroughly cleaned, and in some cases a tune up will help significantly. If the components of your fuel system and engine are worn out, Fuel Stick cannot solve that problem. Regular maintenance of your vehicle will always ensure you are receiving the best performance possible.
Once Fuel Stick is dissolved in the fuel, it will immediately start to clean up the engine fuel system and compression chambers. During this phase, if the engine is very dirty, you will see more exhaust smoke and the engine may be jerky at times because it is trying to burn the carbon and varnish that is being cleaned from the engine. During the clean up phase, you may not see fuel savings but this will gradually improve as the engine is being cleaned. The fuel will be conditioned to increase the octane (or cetane rating for diesel) and the molecular structure will be changed to cause the fuel to burn more evenly so you will experience more power and a smoother engine.
Having the engine tuned up and the spark plugs changed if it has shown signs of being dirty during the initial stages of cleaning and you will certainly save more fuel and have more power. This type of regular maintenance will always provide better performance, especially when using Fuel Stick. |
